tis so sweet to trust

"Tis so Sweet to Trust in Jesus" was the first song we sang last night at church. The song was then followed by the verse on the projector screen for us to read from Matthew where Jesus tells about how our heavenly father provides for the lilies of the field and the birds of the air, and by knowing this information we are called not to worry, but live today for all its worth. I was speechless. For the first time I heard God speak to me throughout this whole ordeal. With my eyes closed, I could see Jesus come down in front of me take my head in his hands and whisper to my spirit, "I hear your prayers."

I hear your prayers. That was all I heard, it is all I need.

God will provide. God will come. God hears our prayer.
