I read a blog every other day by Alan Creeach. Its good, read his brief but powerful thoughts on Lent.





"As I live, says the Lord, I do not wish the sinner to die
but to return back to me and live."

This is the essence of Lent - God's Mercy. God's Love. God calling us back to Himself. The open wounds of Christ calling us to enter them and be transformed by the Life flowing in His Blood, in His Body. How can we not answer that call? It's time to spend 40 days focusing on His call and our response.
