a promise

Holding on to the work that was promised. This is the cry of my heart. This past few months have been so long and painful, yet full of growth and renewal. We have been at the top, at the bottom, full of light and hope, and at the deep dark pit of despair. But one thing remains, God's promise. The promise of God never leaving, yet always providing and giving hope. I am learning with each new day, I can't wonder far, from God's hope, for without it I am truly overtaken by despair and depression.

O God, Hear my Cry, Forsake us not, Lead us by your hand, deliver us from evil. Glory and Praise are yours, you command the winds and water from your voice. Speak to us and give us ears to hear. Selah.
